Life isn’t always going to turn out the way you want it to, but God has a way of making it all turn out for good and glory of His will for our lives.
Back to Work
This last February I came back to work due to being on medical leave for 6 months.
Was I nervous about going back? Absolutely. I didn’t know how well my body was going to adjust going back to my work routine.
Thankfully, going back wasn’t as scary as I thought it was going to be. My team was so happy to have me back and it brought me so much joy how supportive and loving everyone was since they knew about my condition.
While being back at work, I had been laser focused on school since work took up most of my day and I needed to set time for school work too. Thankfully, I’ve managed to pass classes and to keep moving forward even though it can be a lot to handle especially with other activities outside of school and work.
Let me just say, working and doing online school can be difficult to manage. For anyone doing both, keep pushing through! You can do it!
Summer Time
Thankfully now that summers here I am able to take a break, relax and keep focusing on bettering my health.
Having a summer break is nice because I can focus more on my health, my family, life, school and time with Jesus.
Making time for the Lord can be hard when you have so many other things going on in your life. Thankfully, the Lord knows our hearts and knows that we’re trying our best.
Health Update
My health has been improving so much and I am so grateful. For the longest time, I didn’t have any core strength and could not show my doctor a sit up while laying down… NOW, I can! I will say working out is still hard somedays. Now, I don’t always workout everyday, but I try to aim for at least 3-4 days out of the week. Even if I don’t do any heavy lifting I still get in cardio by going on long walks. Normally, I try to aim for 10,000 steps. Unfortunately, it can be hard especially when I don’t have any places to be. Often times, I do have to remind myself that it’s ok if I don’t get in a workout for the day. Rest time is needed and very important too.
Looking back on my Journey
From the time I was sick to now, there has been so much improvement that I have seen with my body.
If it wasn’t for the Lord, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
Jeremiah 29:11 says “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Even though I didn’t know what my life/future was going to look like while being sick, God knew. I knew he wanted me to trust Him, but it was still hard.
Was I scared? Absolutely!
Did I get discouraged about finding help and answers? Again, absolutely.
I didn’t know what was going to happen. I didn’t know what to do, but what I did know that I could do was pray. I prayed all the time and wrote my prayers down. Eventually, I was directed to the right people who led me to the right doctors and got me the treatment and help I needed.
Thank you Jesus, Praise and Glory to Him 🙏
