Good Health Praise God

I’ve had a few relationships since high school. Unfortunately, none of them were healthy, but I learned a lot from each one.

My family taught me that, it takes quite a few frogs in order to find your “prince charming”. I believe that to be true. But what I think is sad, is that a lot of people go through quite a few toxic relationships. If you don’t know who Jesus is, you won’t know how to love the person you want to spend your life with properly.

The hardest part about the past is that it is the past. There is nothing we can do to change or fix it. But what we can do, is learn from it. If you never learn from the mistakes you made, you’ll just keep on repeating and wonder why nothing is changing. Learn to let go, move on and do better.

One beautiful thing about being single, is learning who you are in Gods eyes and learning how you deserve to be treated. Finding out what you like and dislike. Treating yourself good, that way you attract good.

For over a year I’ve been seeing a counselor and it has made a huge difference in my life. If you don’t have a counselor, I highly recommend finding one! After a year, I have noticed that I have changed so much. Praise and Glory to God!!! There have been many times throughout my healing process, that I had to die to my flesh much harder than others. During those hard times, I had to push through to allow God to work within me and heal those broken parts.

If you’re on a healing journey like me, keep working on you! You can do it!!

Go to the gym. Find a counselor. Get self help books. (I’ll show the ones I’m currently reading!) Learn to understand the benefits of being single. Spend more time with friends, family and Jesus. Learn what being a Godly Man/Woman looks like. Let Jesus heal your heart. Let him transform you. Put in the hard work, that way, when God sees you’re ready, he will open the right door when the time is right.

Everything is a process. Everything takes time. As long you’re putting in the work to help yourself and grow, that’s what matters. You will see progress!! Just be patience with yourself.
