Yes, you read that right, GODLY WIFE! Scripture says in Proverbs 18:22 “A man who finds a wife finds something good. She shows that the Lord is pleased with him.” Now OBVIOUSLY, people DATE as in boyfriend/girlfriend to find “the one”, but what fruits does he/she portray? Galatians 5:22 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” All these things are to be taken into consideration when choosing your forever partner. You’re forever best friend. Thats why people say choose your spouse wisely. It’s one of the biggest decisions we’re going to make in life.
Learning to become a Godly Wife is what I strive to become EVERYDAY. Obviously, there’s more scripture to back up what a Godly Woman should be. Though it is hard, due to my health and making that a priority, I still work on my relationship with God everyday and work to help become the better version of myself, but in a slow and steady process.
As humans, we AREN’T PERFECT. Perfection died on the cross. We will never be perfect. BUT, we can strive to show a Christ like love every single day.
How do I manage becoming a Godly Wife and bettering my health at the same time you may ask? God knows my situation and the predicament I’m in. So, know I need show myself more grace and patience because for my health, this is going to be a SLOW process. As much as I want to FAST TRACK both that’s not how this is going to be. Patience is KEY right now for me and that is something the Lord has been teaching me for a VERY long time. I will say some things are easier to be patient for than others. Unfortunately, right now I have to be patient with both. Going through this process is tough, some days are extremely BORING. But, I have noticed SO MUCH IMPROVEMENT!! God is working!! I can’t thank Him enough for walking by my side and giving me the strength to improve myself each day! Everyday I wake up is a blessing 🙏
Here’s a quote that will always ring true to me. Yesterday is History. Tomorrow is a Mystery. Today is a Gift. That’s why we call it ‘The Present’. ~ Eleanor Roosevelt.
