Is it always easy living a life for Christ? No, but it is worth it!!

2 Corinthians 5:7 “We live by what we believe, not by what we can see.”

Even though as humans we cannot physically see Jesus. I have seen his WORK in my life over the past few years and it is truly AMAZING! My life changed A LOT. My faith is TREMENDOUSLY growing every day. Is it perfect? No. Do I still struggle to trust God when I don’t hear answers or when I’m patiently waiting? Of course. It’s not always easy, BUT, I’d rather live my life according to Him and have Eternal life with Him, than to suffer without Him.

If you’re a follower of Christ like me, then you KNOW there are hard days as much as there are good ones. God doesn’t give you what you WANT, he gives you what you NEED. Plus, what you NEED is going to be WAY BETTER than what you may WANT.

I honestly strugled with the NEED vs. WANT for YEARS. I’ll admit, I still do at times. I’m not perfect, but I’m striving everyday to become the “better” version of myself for who Christ created me to be. Are some days harder than others? They can be. I’ll admit, not everything in life is EASY to give up, but once you start to give up earthly things and stuff that the flesh desires, it gets easier. PLUS, PRAYER! Praying is so POWERFUL! Praying over EVERYTHING helps! 1 Corinthians 10:13 “The only temptations that you have are the temptations that all people have. But you can trust God. He will not let you be tempted more than you can stand. But when you are tempted, God will also give you a way to escape that temptation. Then you will be able to stand it.”

I know there is temptation EVERYWHERE. Sometimes it can be hard not to fall into temptation, but that’s when PRAYER comes in.. and sometimes it helps when you have a strong community of SUPPORT to help you during the difficult times. People to not only pray FOR YOU, but also to pray OVER YOU! Never think you can’t pray ENOUGH or that you can’t have MORE people praying for you. Don’t let the lies by the enemy win, PRAYER IS POWERFUL 🙏
